Ford Evos – first drive.

Ford claims its new Evos is China only, but don’t bet on that. The new slope-backed crossover slots into the range roughly where the soon-to-be-discontinued Mondeo sits in Europe. Matching current public tastes, the Evos is also a crossover rather than a traditional saloon or hatchback, built on the same excellent C2 platform as the Focus. In many ways, Europe makes sense.
The Evos is striking, too. Not only due to the silhouette but also because dominating the front is Changan Ford’s dragon-scale grille, thescales of which flutter when you lock and unlock the car.
